**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Oversee the service dispatch team (2-3 people)
- Ensure the team is optimizing the schedule based on location and techs’ experience/licensing
- Assist dispatch team with knowledge of the scope of a job when needed
- Assist with training dispatch team for optimal call set-up (intaking clients)
- i.e. What questions to ask clients given different contexts
- Oversee the service technicians (currently 8 techs)
- Co-ordinate with our lead hand technician on arising issues
- Advise him as needed on potential solutions to help other technicians
- Potentially do site visits with him when training opportunities come up on unusual cases
- Assist technicians over the phone as needed for technical questions
- Ensure proper training is taking place
- Planning and coordinating training for techs
- Pairing newer technicians with experienced technicians as needed/appropriate in order to cross train and expand knowledge
- Co-ordinate with lead hand technician to assist with this
- Coordinate on-call schedule
- Monitor
- Safety gear inventory and use of
- Truck inspections (to be completed by technicians
- Tool lists/allowances
- Ensure technicians are following proper procedures for
- Safety
- Quality and TSSA standards
- Service quotes
- Effective communication with office and clients
- On-call procedures
- Timesheets
- Contribute to team meetings
- Complete service/repair quotes for clients as needed
- Track KPI’s
- Track residential & commercial maintenance programs
- Resolve clients’ concerns as needed
- Assist dispatch team with smoothing over escalated clients when appropriate

**Requirements**:

- Technical knowledge of HVAC.
- Prior experience as an HVAC technician with current valid licenses is an asset
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a service-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the capability of working independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
