Take your life off "HOLD" and explore challenging job opportunities with unlimited career-enhancing potential available now Work for a nationally recognized leader in heavy and medium-duty truck sales, service and repair of Freightliner, Western Star, FCC Chassis, and Thomas Bus. **Responsibilities**: - Performs basic automotive and truck maintenance services including but not limited to rotating, replacing, mounting, and balancing tires, adjusting fluids and coolants, oil and filter changes and brake adjustments. - Able to perform services on electrical, hydraulic, power train, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment - Lubricate, service, diagnose, repair, assemble, and maintain vehicles and equipment - Maintains a clean, efficient work area and assists in keeping the shop neat - Ensures that customer vehicles are repaired accurately and kept clean - road test vehicles to ensure qualify repairs the first time. - Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended - Timely and accurate diagnosis and repair including computer connection/diagnosis with machine to identify fault codes - Provides guidance and instruction to less experienced, or apprentice maintenance personnel - Communicates with service advisor if additional work is needed - Aids service writer as needed to write work orders, conduct test rides, interact with the customer, or in any other way you can guarantee customer satisfaction - Commitment to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment to ensure customer satisfaction - Read diagrams/schematics and manufacturers repair manuals for work procedures to make repairs per the manufacturer’s specifications - Maintain and service many styles or trucks and trailers. - Utilize computer electronic systems to interpret failure modes - Ability to work with mínimal supervision - Maintain excellent customer relations - Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment - Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment. - Adhere to all company policies and procedures as set out by Francis Canada Truck Centre **Qualifications**: - Must be self-motivated. - Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills. - Must be detail oriented. - Organized and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to build strong customer relationships. - Must have the ability to work well within a team environment. - Dealership background considered strong asset - 310 T License - Valid Driver’s license with ability to reliably commute - Commitment to personal safety and safety of coworkers - While performing the duties of this Job, technicians are regularly required to stand; walk; bend; and lift. - Excellent time management skills **Salary**: $38.00-$60.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Company events - Company pension - Dental care - Disability insurance - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Flexible schedule - Life insurance - On-site parking - Paid time off - Profit sharing - Relocation assistance - RRSP match - Store discount - Tuition reimbursement - Vision care - Wellness program Schedule: - Day shift - Night shift Supplemental pay types: - Bonus pay - Retention bonus Ability to commute/relocate: - GLOUCESTER, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Work Location: One location
