**Position title**:Vice President, Events and Commercial Services**
**Reports to**: Senior Vice President, Programmes and Commercial Services
**Supervises**: Senior Director, Airport Assessments and Services
Director, Events and Member Services
**I. Areas of Responsibility**:
- Provide strategic leadership of the Airport Assessments, APEX, Advisory Services, Events, and ACI World representation programmes and departments, including all related revenues
- Manage relationships with the regional offices ex. Revenue sharing, general exchanges and communication, events coordination, etc.
- Provide leadership for management of the ACI World Business Partner (WBP) Advisory Board.
- Identify opportunities to generate new revenues through potential new products and services.
- Financial forecasting, reporting, and control of assigned department budgets.
- Coordinate promotional and visibility efforts with the Communications and Marketing department to reach financial targeted results, and general relationship with other internal departments.
- Represent ACI views at major global conferences, through publications and with regulatory bodies.
- On going management of direct reports, their staff, coaching, development, and potential structure changes when required;
**II. Major Duties and Accountabilities**:
- Lead the development of the ACI’s Airport Assessment and APEX teams
- Develop / update the respective business plan in support of members, ACI World, and ACI Regional needs, aligned with ACI’s strategic goals;
- Enhance and increase over time the number of airport participants and potential additional airport accreditations;
- Manage and oversee communications and exchanges with ACI regions and with all the required external partners;
- On going tracking of financial results compared to budget
- Develop and foster beneficial relationships with funding institutions and other industry bodies ex, EASA, AFCAC, ICAO, IATA;
- Lead and develop ACI’s Advisory Services
- Develop and regularly update a business plan to plan the development of such services.
- Enhance and increase over time the presence, visibility, number of yearly mandates, and reputation of such ACI services and support;
- Evaluate opportunities to best keep track of airport RFPs and other airport business opportunities worldwide;
- Plan and manage the support and process between working with internal and external SMEs: Maximise WBP integration, RFP process, general efficiency, etc.
- On going tracking of financial results compared to budget;
- Lead and develop ACI’s Event Program:
- Ensure excellence in content, planning, logistics, and results (revenues and participants) for the present four annual events: ACI World Annual General Assembly (WAGA), ACI Customer Experience Summit and Exhibition, Trinity Forum, and Airports Innovate Conference;
- On going tracking of financial results compared to budget;
- Oversee the planning and internal management related to ACI World Webinars, presence of ACI Booths at various events, and related general ACI staff representation (promotion of ACI products and services);
- Ensure the required sponsorship processes and tracking are developed and applied for best possible support;
**III. Skills and Abilities**:
- University degree, and postgraduate qualifications would be an asset.
- More than 10 years’ executive level experience within the airport or aviation industry;
- 10 years’ experience in managing multiple programs that involve both internal and external stakeholders;
- Experience in business development with positive results;
- Experience internationally, working in multi-cultural working environments;
- Experience in managing and tracking financial results and budgets;
- Ability to formulate and articulate strategic vision and objectives;
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management in a business and regulatory environment;
- Excellent written (document-writing, e.g. policies, procedures, recommended practices, manuals and report writing) and spoken English skil
