**Who we are**

Van Isle Beauty Co. is a beauty supplier across Canada, an educator of beauty courses, as well as a fully operational 2-story beauty salon in Nanaimo, BC.

We are seeking an Operations Manager / Marketing Coordinator to supervise the day-to-day administrative functions of our rapidly expanding beauty sector and assist with marketing efforts. Expertise (or education) in marketing, social media, and basic business understanding is required. This position is ideal for a highly organized and imaginative individual who desires to gain expertise and make an effect in a rapidly expanding firm. **Core Responsibilities**
- Create online and written marketing materials
- Update the company websites
- Content creation / helping manage the companies social media channels: videos, social media posts, stories, reels
- Maintaining and analyzing ads
- Manage the relationship between other resellers and trainers across Canada.

**Qualifications**
- Experience or passion for the beauty industry preferred
- Demonstrated experience in a marketing, office management, or administrative assistant role
- Degree or Diploma in Marketing specializing in social media. (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of optimizing web pages and social media accounts.
- Up to date knowledge of the changing world of social media.
- Remarkable organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Technically-savvy, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google products (Sheets, Mail, Drive, Docs)
- An initiative taker, someone who sees what needs to be done and then goes ahead and gets it done.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as well as a go-getter and proactive attitude
- Willing to learn and tenacity to finish what you have started (can-do attitude)

**Job Types**:

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift 8:30-5pm
- Monday - Friday
