Our leadership team are entrepreneurs with proven success in the hospitality and software sectors. We have developed an app and SaaS support tools to help independent restaurant owners order the products they need to run their business and enhance their profitability.
**Position Description**
Hailo is recruiting for the role of Business Development Representative (BDR). As a part of our marketing organization, the BDR team is the first contact point for new member leads. You will use an established process to qualify prospective member leads which, once qualified, you hand off to sales, schedule these meetings and create new customer records in Salesforce (CRM). Leads are generated by marketing but are also inbound, and generated from your own prospecting efforts.
**Responsibilities**
- Prioritize and organize the lead pipeline for maximum efficiency on a daily basis
- Present Hailo’s key benefits and capabilities
- Ask questions that yield a clear understanding of the prospect’s business and establish their fit with our solution
- Work closely with our sales team to ensure clean lead hand-offs and to refine your qualification process
- Ensure all sales activities are recorded and tracked in Salesforce
- Generate weekly reports on activity, results and developing market and competitive insights
Applicants must have the following attributes:
- Knowledge and passion for technology and cloud-based products
- You like to succeed and to grow your compensation based on performance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders of all backgrounds and technical abilities; ability to explain complex messages in a clear and effective manner
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Proven ability to manage meet or exceed goals
- Comfortable working autonomously

- Hands-on experience collaborating via online tools, such as:
- Enterprise File sharing (Google Drive, Dropbox, Sharepoint)
- Spreadsheeting (Excel, Google Sheets)
- Enterprise Chat (Slack, Teams)
- Video Conferencing (Zoom, Teams)
- Group Calendaring (Calendly, Google Calendar, MS Exchange)
- Task Management (Trello etc)
Additionally, the following attributes will be a distinct advantage:
- University or college graduate;
- Business development/Sales experience and training at a leading tech/IT company;
- Experience at a SaaS company.

**Compensation**
The position carries a competitive salary and the potential for stock options.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
