**STUDENT SERVICES COORDINATOR**

We are currently looking for an dynamic Student Services Coordinator to join our Victoria and Vancouver locations. This customer-service role assists with all aspects of administrative support for the Campus Director, the School and its programs. The role will also be empowered to take on Financial Aid and Government Funding Applications.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
**Student support**
- Coordinate and communicate with students, schools, and parents in a fastidious and polite manner
- Relentlessly solve student issues in a prompt and caring manner
- Assist with student enrolment, registration, and the student journey
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Relentlessly solving problems, from start to finish
- Advocating for our students’ best interests
- Understanding international students and education in Canada
**Administrative**
- Assist in maintaining and updating the student database
- Providing support to team members and management
- Maintaining Hard Copy and Online Files according to Compliance
**Financial Aid & Govt Funding**
- Provide student aid and financial aid service to students joining the College
- Conduct student financial need assessments, review student financial assistance options and determine eligibility for financial assistance programs.
- Provide information, instruction and advice to students regarding student financial assistance programs.
- Develop programming and awareness among government student loan recipients regarding minimum course load, the impact of withdrawal from studies, unsuccessful studies, student loan default, appeals, reassessments and other matters related to student eligibility for government financial assistance.
**Skills and Experience**
- Exceptionally organized with attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Google Tools (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Chat, Gmail, Meet, Calendar)
- Responsible, flexible and able to function well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Cultural awareness
- Minimum 2 years experience in education, student service, or tourism
**Experience with Amp Educator, Salesforce, or Hubspot an Asset
**Experience with Student Aid and Workforce Grants an Asset
**Hours**: Monday - Friday
**Salary**: Commensurate with Experience
