**Position: Administrative Assistant**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Location**: Markham

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for full cycle bookkeeping.
- Perform data entry and reconciliation of banks statements, credit card statements and A/P invoices.
- Reconcile the customer invoicing, and A/R reports and update status to the management.
- Handle the timely payment of local and overseas vendors.
- File companies GST/HST tax returns monthly and quarterly
- Issue cheques and handle reimbursement.
- Assist in month-end closing.
- Greet office visitors, and ensure that visitors sign in and out.
- Provide administrative support to President and departments.
- Sort & distribute incoming mail, prepare outgoing mail.
- Responsible for office administration, including office supplies, facilities, renovations, security camera, etc.
- Perform filing and archiving of company records.
- Provide support in drafting correspondence and documents.
- Keep front reception/lobby area clean, neat and organized.
- Maintain and update company contact list.
- Manage the cleanliness of office and cafeteria.
- Follow JY Care policies and procedures.
- Other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- 2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Experience in a fast paced environment is preferred
- High energy, self-motivated, and attention to detail
- Well-organized, multi-task oriented and efficient
- Effective communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel)
- Accounting software, such as Quickbooks
- Works well independently and as part of a team

**Language**:

- Mandarin or Cantonese (preferred)
