**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Follow proper portion control guidelines to minimize waste.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining equipment.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in a cook or food service role is preferred.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and food preparation methods is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is required.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a kitchen environment.
- A passion for the food industry and a willingness to learn new skills are highly valued.
