Trealmont Trade Lane Inc. a subsidiary of Trealmont Transport Inc. has an opening for **Logistics Coordinator **in our Mississauga, Ontario office. Trealmont Trade Lane Inc. and its various affiliates collectively are one of the oldest and most respected shipping agents within the Canadian shipping industry.

**What You Would Be Doing**:

- Coordinate the flow of outbound and inbound cargo (Sea, Air, Truck, Rail).
- Book and provide shipment information to our customers.
- Tracking and tracing of shipments.
- Learn Carrier website booking platforms.
- Inform the customers about their load status.
- Communicate with transportation/carriers/airlines and the customer to solve any discrepancies.
- Coordinate shipments and send pre-alert notices to customers and related departments as required.
- Verify and solve any issues related to the operation.
- Prepare export/import documentation.
- Issue invoice(s) and release(s) for export/import cargo.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- General office duties related to the position.
- Any other duties assigned by the department’s supervisor/manager.

**What We Are Looking For**:

- CIFFA or Certificate in Marine Transportation, freight Forwarding would be an asset.
- Experience in Freight Forwarding, logistics, shipping or Transportation industry is asset.
- Familiar with North American geography, a must.
- Ability to perform various tasks simultaneously in a computerized environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a genuine desire to help others in an organized manner.
- Servicing customers and solving problems are your strengths.
- Ability to be creative problem solving, in anticipation of the unexpected and having solutions readily available in a team or individually.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the aptitude to learn new software.
