Our business operates on a foundation of our core values: Quality Craftsmanship, Customer Satisfaction, Integrity and Reliability. **Overview**: **Your Role**: As Operations Coordinator you will be coordinating the day to day operations of the company, Creating Work Orders for new projects, Scheduling the field staff, coordinating material orders from procurement to delivery. Our Coordinator will work closely with the President. **Duties**: - Scheduling Staff: _As Operations Coordinator you will be responsible to input newly acquired projects into Intuit scheduling system, you will then be require to communicate with the staff on the details of their project. This will include but not be limited to: the Field painting Staff, Shop Staff, Carpentry Staff, and Trailer Mover Staff. As the ‘Leader of the Schedule’ you will be also required to solve unforeseen scheduling issues such as staff absences, sudden changes in clients schedules, product issues, etc. - _First line of Staff communication:_ When the Staff have an issue that is not a technical issue with painting, the Operations Coordinator will be the first person to contact. - _Change Management:_ When a client has indicated their desire to change the proposal during the project, The Operations Coordinator will be responsible to collect all the extra work forms from the field staff and rely this information to the Coordinator of Customer Success. - Procure Materials and Sundries for Staff. - Coordinate Delivery of Materials and Sundries for Staff. **Meetings**: The Operations Coordinator will be required to attend the following meetings: - Weekly Planning Meeting - Weekly Schedule Meeting - Daily Scrum - Monthly one on ones with the president. **Qualifications**: - Knowledge in the painting and decorating industry a strong asset. - A highly motivate, organized, disciplined person. - A great team player. - Someone willing to go the extra mile. - Experience in Scheduling field staff and Procurement of materials. - Minimum 2+ years of experience in Construction or the Painting and Decorating Market. - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Must be organized and entrepreneurial. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Hubspot, and Quickbooks Time. - Attention to detail and quick learner. **Requirements**: - A permanent space within the applicant’s home that can be used for uninterrupted work within the hours of 7:30am-4pm. - A reliable internet connection within the applicant’s home - A cell phone. - English Language - Reside in Winnipeg, or the ability to relocate to Winnipeg at the applicant’s cost. **What you can expect**: - A work environment that encourages work-life balance - No commuting to a work office during busy traffic periods. - Working from home. - An average of 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week. - $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 annual pay paid hourly - Cell phone allowance. - Continual education as needed. - Unlimited ability to advance as company grows. **Additional Duties**: For the first 6 months of the Operations Coordinator's tenure, they will be required to: After this period of time and the "Exterior Season" begins, The Operations Coordinator will transfer these duties to the Customer Success Coordinator. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year Additional pay: - Overtime pay **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Company events - Work from home Flexible language requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday - Overtime - Weekends as needed **Education**: - Secondary School (required) **Experience**: - Construction: 2 years (preferred) - Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: Remote Application deadline: 2024-12-06 Expected start date: 2025-01-13
