Restaurant Supervisor

**Overview**
**Duties**
- Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service
- Manage staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of food safety and quality
- Handle cash management and POS transactions accurately
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop menu items and improve food offerings
- Conduct interviews for new hires and provide ongoing training for team members
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as necessary to maintain stock
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and best practices in the kitchen
- Experience with POS systems, preferably Micros POS
- Background in food preparation, cooking, serving, or hospitality is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in supervising staff is essential; hotel or barista experience is a plus
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
