**Introduction**
As an Assistant Brand Manager at Motif Labs, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and execution of brand strategies to enhance Motif's portfolio of brands. You will work closely with the Brand Manager to drive brand equity measures, monitor brand performance, develop marketing plans, and ensure successful product launches. Additionally, you will be responsible for trade marketing planning, innovation strategy, and product lifecycle management to maximize brand success and market competitiveness.

**Responsibilities**
**Brand Development / Strategy**
- Support Motif's portfolio of brands and strengthen brand equity measures such as market share, packaging assessment, and price assessment.
- Monitor brands' performance metrics and make recommendations for action plans to adapt to changing customer, competitive, or external environment.
- Assist in the strategic development and execution of Annual Marketing Plans including new product launches, campaign development, consumer promotions, and social media strategy.
- Maintain the annual marketing calendar in collaboration with the Brand Manager and Sales Organization.
- Initiate brief kick-off process with internal creative team to ensure accurate asset packaging for product launches.
- Monitor and stay aware of competitive activities in the retail environment through various channels including in-store, digital, and social media.
- Maintain Brand Source of Truth documentation.

**Trade Marketing Planning**
- Create marketing plans to support specific brands, product launches, and focus areas.
- Manage, update, and communicate changes to the brand's marketing calendar.
- Support Brand Manager in creating trade strategies and work with Creative and Trade Coordinators to bring concepts to life.
- Ensure timely submission of all briefs.
- Collaborate with the customer marketing team to identify opportunities to drive consumer awareness in-store.
- Coordinate work between Brand Managers, Creative, Sales, and other involved teams.
- Support Key Account (KA) teams to optimize rate of sale by maximizing marketing opportunities per account.

**Innovation**
- Maintain a strong understanding of category dynamics and develop recommendations on innovation strategy and prioritization to strengthen Motif's brand portfolio.
- Support Brand Manager in defining product specifications, copy, pricing, and pack & price architecture.
- Work in partnership with Brand Manager on all product innovation briefs.

**Product Lifecycle Management**
- Leverage data and insights to develop strategies related to product lifecycle.
- Monitor competition and pricing and create recommendations on pricing and assortment health.
- Signal plans to exit products or brands to the wider organization and develop action plans to mitigate inventory write-offs.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 1 year of experience in brand management or related field, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinker with a passion for brand building and innovation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing analytics tools.
- Experience with trade marketing and product lifecycle management is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
