Position Description:
**At a Glance**

**Legrand **has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manaer to join the AVD Canada Team in Ottawa, Canada.

Responsible for the development of territorial Sales and the implementation of Marketing strategies set forth by the company; staffing sales positions with qualified, independent agents on a timely basis.

**Main Job Duties**:

- Evaluate the performance of all sales agencies. Counsel, train, advise, assist, and direct their activities in support of the complete Legrand offering and company objectives.
- Motivate the Field Sales Force to high achievement levels
- Develop an effective Distribution network by growing key strategic account relationships
- Travel extensively to maintain a presence throughout the region.
- Work in conjunction with senior management to coordinate market efforts in order to maximize volume, mix and margin.
- Prepare annual sales and expense forecasts.
- Prepare annual business plan in support of company objectives.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with Agents and Distribution channels.
- Develop key End-User and channel relationships to enhance market/product intelligence as well as volume sales.
- Provide regular feedback to senior management on sales potential and other important activities within the region.
- Fiscal responsibility for cost center in conjunction with budgetary levels provided

Qualifications:
**Education**:Minimum, Bachelors Degree in Sales/Marketing or related field, Masters Degree Preferred

**Experience**:
2-4 years’ experience in a world class Sales/Marketing organization

2-4 years’ experience in managing across teams.

**Skills/Knowledge/Abilities**:

- High level of communication and organizational skills
- Strong teaming skills
- Personal sales skills
- Marketing implementation strategy
- Manage complex issues such as;
- Distribution selection, personnel selection, territorial development.
- Maintaining the image and integrity of the Company with our clients, consultants, distribution partners.
- Negotiating contracts, maintaining our margins with distribution channels.
