Regional Sales Manager — Drive Multi-Store Growth Across Ottawa (Store/Retail)

About the Role

We’re seeking a results-driven **Regional Sales Manager** to lead sales execution and operational excellence across a portfolio of retail stores. You’ll set the regional strategy, coach Store/Area Managers, and turn insights into action to grow revenue, elevate customer experience, and strengthen our market presence.

What You’ll Do
- **Own the region plan**: Build quarterly/annual sales plans, territories, and store targets; forecast and report KPIs (traffic, conversion, AOV, comp sales, margin).
- **Lead & develop leaders**: Coach Store/Area Managers on customer experience, selling behaviors, and people routines (hiring, onboarding, performance, succession).
- **Execute retail excellence**: Partner on merchandising, promotions, and planograms; ensure brand standards and loss-prevention policies are met across all locations.
- **Win key accounts & partnerships**: Build relationships with local B2B/B2C partners; manage negotiations and regional agreements in line with company policy.
- **Operational rhythm**: Conduct regular store walks, business reviews, and pipeline meetings; remove barriers and drive continuous improvement.
- **Data-driven action**: Analyze sales, market trends, and competitor activity to adapt pricing, assortment, and promotional strategies.

What You Bring
- 5+ years in multi-site **retail/store** leadership (Area/Regional/District or equivalent) with a track record of beating sales targets.
- Strong coaching presence; able to elevate managers and frontline teams in fast-paced store environments.
- Comfort with retail KPIs, forecasting, and P&L levers; advanced Excel/Google Sheets and CRM proficiency.
- **Valid Ontario driver’s license** and ability to travel across the Ottawa region (field-based role).
- **Bilingual (English/French)** an asset for the National Capital Region.

Nice to Have
- Experience in chain, specialty, or big-box retail; new-store openings and seasonal ramp planning.
- Knowledge of planogram execution and retail compliance (OHSA, food/consumer goods policies, LP).
- Familiarity with Salesforce (or similar) for pipeline and account management.
