**Job Summary**:
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Facilitate the development of project scope, risk, impacts and quality criteria
- Provide analysis of product additions and improvement projects for system changes impacting accounting
- Develop test strategies and support development of test plans for function and user acceptance testing
- Document and train business end users on changes relating to project releases including the creation of process reviews, document work flows and assist in process improvements
- Understands risks and issue logging, along with proposed mitigating solutions
- Build positive relationships with project partners and navigate crisis resolution
- Identify and execute on process improvements through process mapping and re-design
- Offer recommendations and implement mechanisms to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of business and finance processes and controls
- For Finance initiatives, develop detailed project plans, maintain information on progress, milestones and deliverables, communicate project status to key partners
**Qualifications (Knowledge/Skills/Competencies)**:
- Business analyst experience with 3-5 years of progressive experience supporting medium to large-sized projects
- Proven track record in delivering user stories & requirements in an Agile environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to liaise with colleagues and develop relationships across the organization to resolve project issues
- Demonstrated ability to exercise flexibility and judgment in assessing business issues and associated risks while staying focused on project deliverables
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to quickly learn new concepts/processes
- Ability to prioritize and lead tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to negotiate, influence and resolve conflicts with project team members and flexible when faced with challenges and change
- Sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
- Business knowledge of financial services and insurance related products is a valuable asset

The annual base salary for this role in the primary location of CAN, Ontario, Waterloo, 500 King Street North is expected to be between $55,125.00 CAD - $91,875.00 CAD.
