Surface Land Administrator

Job Title: Surface Land Administrator ~ RQ 23-22 ~

TAQA North is currently searching for a Surface Land Administrator. Reporting to the Supervisor, Surface Land Administration, you will complete the processing of day-to-day Surface Land Administration to support the greater Surface Land Department. Your primary goal will be producing timely and cost effective, regulatory compliant surface land packages associated with capital and base management.

This position is based out of the Calgary downtown office.

Key Responsibilities:
You will support the maintenance aspect of existing Surface, Easement & Road Use records, including:

- File set up & data input/updates to maintain accurate records within the physical file and land databases
- Surface related payments and supporting documentation
- Land Title registrations
- Communications with and completion of incoming requests from internal and external stakeholders, in a professional and timely manner
- Special projects and supporting all members of the Surface Land Team as required

Your Qualifications:

- Five to ten years’ work experience in Surface Land Administration (with at least three years’ Surface Land experience with an E & P company)
- Proficient in CS Land and mapping systems (AbaData, Accumap)
- Extensive knowledge of regulations affecting Surface Land in AB and Saskatchewan
- Strong organizational and communication skills, coupled with ability to multi-task
- Demonstrates initiative, innovation, teamwork, and attention to detail
- Effective follow-up and time management skills
- Land Administration Certificate or Land Diploma (or equivalent combination of education and work experience)
