Tenant Relations Administrative Co-Ordinator
P.A.M. Gardens Non-Profit Housing is a social housing provider located in London, Ontario. We provide housing to 340 units in 7 locations and we're growing. We are seeking an exceptional person to be our first point of contact for the tenants and staff.
**Duties**
The position will work under the Business Manager and provide support for the administrative staff when necessary.
**Responsibilities**
- Receiving rent payments, inputting rents on excel spread sheets and in tenant’s files.
- Preparing late notices and follow-up
- Accurate communications with Paralegal
- Prepare monthly vacancy and arrears report
- Calculating tenant’s rents using Rent-Geared to Income guidelines. Provide correspondence to tenant and update tenant’s files and rent sheets
- Document and respond to tenant’s concerns.
- Maintain a wait list and rent units.
- Prepare move in/move out packages and correspondence.
- Coordinate move in/ move out dates with Maintenance Administrative Clerk
- Prepare leases and meet with tenants.
- Complete tasks in a timely manner and report to management
- Prepare for annual income review for all tenants receiving RGI rents
- Maintain and annually update last month’s rent and prepare correspondence to tenants
- Assist in the annual audit
- Complete special projects or assist others with joint tasks
- Support and always maintain tenant/staff confidentiality
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Adobe.
- Work closely with Housing Access Center
- Keep all records and files up to date
**Desired Qualifications and Skills**
- Administration Office experience required
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to accurately work with computer systems, Microsoft Word Excel, and Adobe is a must.
- Familiarity with Housing Services Act, Residential Tenancy Act
- Familiar with tenant eviction procedures
- Strong Service Skills - demonstrating the ability to be welcoming and compassionate.
- Ability to multitask
- Being able to handle conflict
- Leadership based/team approach
- RGI Calculation experience
- Attention to detail
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
