The HIPPY Program is dedicated to empowering parents as their children's first teachers by providing the tools, resources, and support necessary for success. Our HIPPY Program works directly with families to promote early childhood development and school readiness. We strive to create a supportive community where parents can gain confidence and skills to help their children thrive.

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Program Support**:

- Assist in the preparation, organization, and distribution of HIPPY curriculum materials to Home Visitors and families.
- Help organize and coordinate parent group meetings, workshops, events, and training sessions for Home Visitors.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of HIPPY Home Visitors, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed for effective delivery of the program.
- Ensure all program activities are carried out as planned, including coordinating logistics, managing supplies, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

**Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of program activities, attendance, and participant progress, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Assist with data entry, including entering participant information, attendance records, and progress reports into the program database.
- Prepare regular reports and documentation as required by the Program Coordinator, including program summaries, success stories, and impact metrics. o Manage program-related correspondence, including responding to inquiries from families, Home Visitors, and community partners.

**Family Engagement**:

- Provide direct support and resources to participating families, including answering questions, addressing concerns, and connecting them with additional services as needed.
- Assist with scheduling and follow-up of home visits, ensuring families receive consistent and timely support.
- Foster strong relationships with families, promoting engagement and active participation in program activities.

**Communication**:

- Communicate regularly with HIPPY Home Visitors to provide guidance, support, and updates on program activities and goals.
- Coordinate with other community organizations and partners to enhance program services and resources available to families.
- Assist in the development of communication materials, such as newsletters, flyers, and social media content, to promote the HIPPY Program and its benefits.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Post Secondary in education, social work, or a related field preferred.
- Additional training or certification in early childhood education or family support services is an asset.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in early childhood education, family support programs, or a related field.
- Previous experience in administrative support or program coordination is highly desirable.

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) / Google Apps, and basic database management.
- Class 5 Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Ability to learn new concepts and computer programs quickly
- Bilingual ability is a plus.

**Working Conditions**:

- The position may require occasional travel to clients’ homes, parent meetings, and community events.
- Flexible working hours, including some evenings and weekends, may be required to accommodate the needs of families and program activities.
- The role involves a mix of office work and direct engagement with families and Home Visitors.
