**Responsibilities**
- Supports the Department Manager to:_
- Produce high quality natural foods in accordance to our delicious recipes
- Prepare, pre-cook, cook or bake
- salads, entrees, and treats to be served in the Deli showcase
- Wash, prepare, and chop fruits and vegetables
- Weigh and mix ingredients
- Clean preparation area, equipment, and Kitchen in accordance to Health and Safety policies
- Rotate stock to ensure quality and fresh merchandise at all times
- Maintain a positive work environment

**Skills/Qualifications**:
If you think you are the right person for this position you will...
- Have previous experience preparing and cooking food
- Have a passion for food and love sharing your knowledge with others.
- Have a valid Food Safe certificate
- Have an interest in all natural, organic, local and healthy ingredients and foods
- Excel when working in a fast-paced environment
- Have the ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines
- Have the ability and willingness to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary. **Must be available to work at least 1 day on the weekend.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.40-$19.00 per hour
