**Position**:_Crew Lead - Hedging & Pruning Specialist_

**Description of Duties**:

- Interact with customers in a professional manner and ensure their requests are met and they are happy with the service provided
- Perform exceptional and detailed gardening services, including:

- Pruning; seasonal, technical, pre and post treatments
- Hedging; reductions, formal, tall ladder work
- Customer education; inform and educate customers on their garden needs
- Soil amending; analysis, fertilizing, mulching
- Bed work; plant and weed identification, invasive control and debris relief
- Tool use: Knowledge and experience with a range of gardening tools, including hand and power tools such as professional use of a hedger, pole saw, chainsaw and mini chainsaw and secateurs. Confidence on a range of ladders, including the tall 16 ft ladder.
- Tool care and management: clean, organize and sharpen all tools for efficient, high-quality work
- Day to day worksite and crew management: task delegation, time management and quality control

**Who Are We Looking For?**:
We are looking to hire someone who has a strong horticultural knowledge and lots of practical experience with pruning and hedging specifically. This person has a passion for gardening and looks at challenges with a positive attitude, as well as holding themselves professionally at all times. They also have a track record of being a great coworker and someone that people respect

**Skills and Requirements**:
2+ years in residential garden installation and maintenance
Preference given to those with horticulture education
Excellent communication skills
Possess a class 5 driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract
Posses a smartphone with data
Passionate for the outdoors and working outside

**Compensation**:

- Competitive wages of $24+ per hour (depending on past experience).
