Victoria, Canada West Rain Landscaping Full time

We are seeking a motivated Crew Leader to join our team. The Crew Leader will oversee and coordinate the daily activities of a team engaged in landscape maintenance, pruning, lawn mowing, gardening, and small install projects.

**Duties**:

- Supervise and lead a team of 2 workers in executing landscape maintenance tasks
- Manage job visits by delegating contracted work with your team member.
- Ensure quality standards are met for all projects, report to manager if there is a problem.
- Train new team members on proper techniques and safety procedures
- Use the Jobber app to record and track all job visits, clocking in and out.
- Tracking driving millage each day through supplied booklet.
- Driving a truck to and from job sites, some days this will require driving with a trailer attached to the truck.
- Collaborate with management to develop project plans and timelines
- Assist in building and maintaining gardens

**Skills**:

- Strong leadership abilities to effectively supervise a team
- Proficiency in landscape maintenance techniques
- Knowledge of using an orchard ladder, garden care, pruning of perennial plants.
- Ability to lift heavy products and materials, including debris and plants.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and management

**Requirements**:

- 4 years minimum of landscape maintenance experience in Canada
- Experience knowledge in different forms of pruning
- Confident knowledge of use of orchard ladder
- Confident knowledge of lawn mowing and pruning equipment
- Experience in driving a truck/trailer
- 1 year minimum experience of leading a crew in a landscaping position.
- Background check is required
- Driving record abstract is required
- Personal phone that has data for everyday that is worked
- Steel toe boots

Extra:

- Uniforms shirts supplied by company.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $26.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

**Benefits**:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
