**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Lead and supervise a team of landscaping professionals in various tasks. including landscape maintenance, garden design, and installation.
- Plan and coordinate daily work schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Provide training and guidance to crew members on best practices in landscaping techniques, including irrigation systems and plant care.
- Monitor the quality of work performed by the team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide solutions.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues as necessary.
- Assist in building new landscapes or enhancing existing gardens through creative design ideas.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in landscape maintenance and garden management.
- Well developed horticulture knowledge including plant identification, awareness of when and how different plants are best pruned, and an understanding of the needs of plants, especially regarding soil, light, water and relevant growing conditions.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, plant care, and landscape design principles.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Tool and machine knowledge; experienced familiarity with small gas and electric maintenance equipment such as mowers, hedge and grass trimmers, ladders, hand saws, etc. Strong understanding of machines, safe operation, responsible care, and a proactive approach to identify care or need for repair.
- Good vehicle awareness, with an ability to safely operate as well as maintain an awareness of vehicle conditions, in order to report anything that needs tending to.
- A valid driver's license is required.

Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $27.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 44 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
