The Body Shop Manager plays an integral role in Birchwood Collision Centre achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction during the repair process. The Body Shop Manager will direct and oversee multiple departments, including their observance of deadlines and productivity levels, as well as the maintenance of quality standards.
**Essential Skills / Details**:
Qualifications:
- Previous Collision experience is preferred
- Creative ability to conceptualize market data and deliver to key stakeholders
- An entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for increasing return on investment (ROI)
- Post-Secondary in related field would be considered an asset
- Thrive in a collaborative environment where teamwork is supported
- High attention to detail with proven time management and organizational skills
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Comfortable leveraging technology for most day-to-day functions
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to support a team in
- Valid 5F Driver’s license with a clear abstract
**Responsibilities**:
- Provides Leadership to the Collision Centre team members coaching them to develop into top performers and future leaders
- Establishes and maintains good working relationships with stakeholders
- Monitors progress on the key performance indicators and holds those accountable when performance falls below target
- Monitors progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring that proper repair and safety procedures are followed
- Regularly reviews and refines the strategy and operating plan based on changing market influences
- Monitors the Birchwood Collision financial statements. Develops policies and practices which meet Collision Centre needs while complying with industry, company, and regulatory requirements
- Makes exceptional customer service a priority within Birchwood Collision
