**Full Job Description**:
Developmental Support Worker performs the assigned function as an unregulated care provider, supports the health care team in assisting patients in activities of daily living, and supports the effective operation of patient care areas.

**JOB DUTIES**:

- Daily health check -ups, provide besides and personal care
- Maintaining daily health care records and assist with medication and housekeeping
- Reporting behavioral and clinical changes to a supervisor
- Performing the sitter duties and keep the surrounding around the clients neat and clean
- Help with light housekeeping - for example, do laundry, wash dishes and make beds
- Effectively communicates to the RN/RPN ,in a timely, objective manner specific to assigned activities.

**Must have**:
DSW Program Certificate or Diploma that meets the appropriate standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, the National Association of Career Colleges,or the Ontario community Support Association
- Relevant experience of minimum 6 months and knowledge about healthcare rules and regulation
- Crisis Intervention & prevention
- Must have Safety Management Training
- Strong verbal and written communication skills along with basic MS Office
- Flexible to work shifts along with weekends if necessary
- Possesses a caring attitude, and good interpersonal skills
- Must be available for Evenings & Overnights

**Qualification**:

- DSW Certificate (required)
- VSS (Vulnerable Sector Screening) within 1 year (Required )
- Two Steps TB ( Tuberculosis ) Test within 1 year (Required )
- CPR Certificate

Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Richmond Hill, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
