**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring seasonal and local ingredients are utilized
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper use of kitchen equipment and adherence to food safety guidelines
- Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service and meal preparation

**Experience**
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred
- Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife skills
- Familiarity with menu planning, fine dining service, and catering operations
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the food industry
- Restaurant experience is highly desirable, with a proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
