Ontario Excavac continues to grow. Join a great team as an Administrator in the
Finance department with special support to Billing. Success in this role requires attention to detail and ability to work independently in completing daily tasks as well as collaborate with other team members.
Our office is in Vaughn (Keele St./Langstaff Rd.) Typical hours are 9-5 with some flexibility. Work from home is permitted up to two days per week once full competency is acquired.
**Responsibilities**:
This role is 50% administration and 50% billing support
- Support billing for major gas client by accessing their database, interpreting requirements, and gathering pertinent information for each job order
- Aid and support as required to others in the Billing Department or Senior Manager, and Accounts Receivable
- Calculate, prepare and issue documents related to accounts such as bills and invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
- Respond to inquiries from sales and operations - maintain good relations with internal clients
- Participate in projects as assigned
- Act as vacation backup to Billings Clerk
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited University preferred
- 2-3 years of previous administrative work
- Billing experience
- Strong attention to details
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Well versed in Excel, database programs and Sage
- Familiar with MS Office
- Must have organization and arithmetic skills
- Eagerness to support and work/communicate with others
- Fast learner
Starting salary: $40,000 - $50,000
