With over 25 locations across Canada, MedPro continues to achieve successful growth and positive healthcare reputation through a commitment to serve our customers, clients and referral sources. This individual will work collaboratively with the Regional Manager and the MedPro leadership team to develop and maintain strong working relationships with area hospital teams, physicians and healthcare professionals across the Alberta South. This position will allow for personal and professional growth with a competitive base and performance pay package.
**Business Development Represenative - Respiratory Homecare Services
- Sleep Apnea and Home Oxygen Services**
**Responsibilities**:
Build business relationships with hospital teams, physicians and other medical team members in order to build/generate patient and service referrals
Educate health professionals on MedPro Respiratory Care's service offerings and how our commitment to positive health outcomes separates us from others in the industry
With the support of the Regional Manager, work in concert with MedPro team members to build new referral sources and manage/maintain existing accounts
Share product knowledge and unique MedPro service indicators with hospital staff, physicians and other health care providers
Organize meetings, presentations, and lunch and learn events in order to maximize potential in sharing MedPro services
Actively engage in meetings with hospital referral sources (nursing units, emergency department etc), physicians and other health care professionals in order to build relationships, share services, and generate patient referrals
Actively prospect new business and referral opportunities and work in tandem with the MedPro leadership team to continue to improve business and service development
Serve as a liaison between MedPro clinical services and referrals sources; troubleshooting, patient discourse and, service reconciliation
Review clinical, service, and product information as continual professional self
- development
Create and maintain detailed records of all interactions within scope of business practice
Keep accurate records of interaction with referral sources/accounts and healthcare professionals and provide updates to regional manager and MedPro leadership on a regularly scheduled basis
Create action plans for self-improvement and business development and share
Maintain strong relationships with key clinical and operational stakeholders to ensure service model meets the needs of the community
Qualifications:
Post
- secondary education in healthcare sector (Respiratory Therapy, Nursing) or business administration.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Sales experience in the healthcare market is preferred
Excellent time management skills
Proven track record of sales success
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
