**Moby** is an independent fibre optic triple play telecommunications company that provides Internet | TV | Phone and related fibre optic services in major Alberta urban centres. We design, deploy and manage our own fibre optic infrastructure and are not a reseller of the incumbent carriers.

We are an entrepreneurial company seeking a **Business Development Representative**who loves telecom and technology and an opportunity to be involved as a key revenue driver in our growth and operations as it pertains to our 5-year strategic plan.

**The Role**:
As a **Business Development Representative** at Moby, your efforts will be promoting the Company’s services to commercial businesses and secure Sales Qualified Leads as it pertains but not limited to the following:

- Inside Sales, Cold Calling and Lead Generation
- Educating future commercial customers on our services: Internet, TV, Voice, Colocation, managed services, leases IoT and cloud solutions
- Directly engage with businesses and executives promoting Moby telecommunication services to secure leads.
- Identify and correlate the technological and telecommunication requirements of targeted businesses and communicate Moby’s applicable solutions through Lead criteria as stated in Sales SOP.
- Identify new business and revenue opportunities as we continue to expand our fibre infrastructure footprint.
- Participate in Moby educational seminars for prospective clients and industry functions to promote the brand and its portfolio of solutions.
- Attend scheduled sales meetings, to measure efforts to targets and provide feedback on customer requirements and industry trends.
- All other reasonable business development services as agreed upon.

**Skills and Attributes**:

- Inside Sales, Cold Calling, and Lead Generation skills.
- Strong Communication and Sales abilities.
- Adept in understanding technology and communicating with individuals at the C-level.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Enjoys both building and maintaining relationships.
- Constant networking and expanding relationships.
- Professional character.
- Experience in the Telecommunications field is a plus.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 3-years in Business Development experience
- Telecommunications experience considered an asset
