Out-of-Scope
Location - Regina Head Office (on-site)
In this role, you will support Shareholder Relations by managing inquiries from customers and the Minister’s office. You will assist with drafting and preparing briefing and other material for the Minister’s office and government agencies. You will also work with various internal departments to prepare timely responses that effectively address questions or concerns.
Key Accountabilities

Stakeholder Relations- Supports senior leadership in the development, maintenance and enhancement of key stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment with established SGI corporate policies, procedures and strategies.- Responsible for developing and maintaining an enterprise-level stakeholder management framework that drives best practice and consistency throughout the stakeholder management lifecycle (intake, monitoring, risks and issue management).- Partners and communicates regularly with internal business areas who have existing stakeholder relationships to understand the nature of the relationship, provide consultation when necessary and collaboratively works toward corporate consistency where possible.- Provides strategic advice to senior leadership on stakeholder related issues, projects and/or policy development.- Monitors and identifies risks relating to proposed Saskatchewan government policies, regulations, etc. that could affect stakeholder relations and communicates the status of changes to relevant areas in a timely manner.- Proactively identifies potential issues or concerns and involves the appropriate internal business partners to resolve issues with external stakeholders (e.g., politically sensitive situations, legislation/policy changes, rate changes, etc.).- Gathers data on stakeholder relationships from respective business areas and creates corporate reports on status, effectiveness, KPIs, etc.- Builds and maintains relationships with and amongst internal and external business partners to build business acumen, promote collaboration and help achieve strategic goals (e.g., various SGI departments, provincial and municipal government officials, service providers, etc.).- Keeps abreast of the strategic direction of the provincial government, staying informed of current and emerging issues in government and industry.
Corporate Partnerships- Establishes and maintains an enterprise-level view of key partnerships, including information about partner offerings/services, strategic contribution, areas of the organization they work with, performance reporting, known risks & issues, etc.- Collaborates with partnership areas in the identification of best practices to scale across the organization to mature and create consistency in the approach to partner management.- Works with partnership and business areas to optimize the approach to partners spanning multiple areas of the organization to ensure effective management of partner performance, risks and issues, coordinated communications, and a consistent partner experience.- Collaborates with the senior leadership team and other internal and external partners (e.g., various SGI departments, education institutes, community-based organizations, etc.) to establish effective partnership agreements and services not handled by the Auto Fund or Claims partnership areas or SGI CANADA’s business development areas.- Facilitates the identification and evaluation of new partnership opportunities, ensuring the involvement of required areas of the organization and that shareholder, stakeholder, and legislative considerations are addressed.- Analyzes partnerships from a corporate perspective and makes recommendations for leveling SGI’s support with various partners where applicable.- Manages partnerships that have a corporate wide reach and/or do not fit logically in another business area.- Engages with other Government or Crown organizations on collaborative partnership opportunities.- Monitors established partnerships to ensure they are managed consistently and in accordance with standards, which includes developing effective and efficient metrics, to ensure partners are delivering desired outcomes.- Leads the completion of Privacy Impact Statements when contemplating new or renewed partnerships.- Works with Legal to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance, when applicable.- Recommends partnership termination when appropriate, based on documented issues and failure of the partner to comply with contractual obligations.
