Ottawa, Canada Chenier Tax Specialists Full time

An established and busy tax preparation business in the Carlingwood area is looking for an organized, energetic and computer literate receptionist/admin assistant to help us through tax season. If you have experience in preparing tax returns, even better. Full-time hours beginning March 3 until mid-May. Although bilingualism isn’t a requirement, it is a definite asset, as is experience with Profile and Quickbooks. Must understand the importance of deadlines and be able to work under pressure. **Responsibilities**
- Greet and assist visitors at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage phone system, directing calls and taking messages as needed.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and QuickBooks for administrative tasks and invoicing.
- Support office operations by assisting with clerical duties.
- Depending on qualifications, assist in the preparation of basic tax returns using Profile.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- administrative assistant: 1 year (preferred)
- receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
