**About You**:
You are a forward-thinking registered CPA interested in joining a fast-paced growing organization. You have previous experience within the construction industry and extensive accounting experience. You have previously held positions as a controller, and/or senior accountant. As you have worked within the construction industry previously, you have experience with completing the financial pieces of proposals and contract bidding. You pay great attention to detail, are a team player and supportive leader. You lead by example and have ample experience in auditing the financials of an organization within the construction industry. You are fluent in both Canadian official languages of French and English.

**Core Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for managing the company’s accounting processes such as managing cashflow, preparing budgets, and completing regular reporting.
- Completing regular auditing of processes and reports to ensure legal compliance and standards.
- Carefully audit and streamline the accounting department, providing the team with necessary standard operating procedures.
- Meticulously completing financial tasks to ensure proper accounting for every incoming and outgoing business transaction.
- Supporting the CFO to ensure the quality of work within the department to allow more time for strategic thinking, while providing advice on financial decisions.
- Use business financial data to facilitate the daily execution of financial plans such as cost analysis and cashflow forecasts.
- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
- Participate in the development of and support the company’s strategic plans
- Monitor the financial performance of the company
- Compile and analyze financial reporting packages
- Prepare monthly and annual operating budgets
- Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures
- Communicate financial metrics to senior management
- Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and accounts payable departments
- Manage the preparation of payroll for personnel
- Other duties as assigned.

**Your Qualifications and Skillsets**:

- Able to work under mínimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
- 15+ years of experience in accounting
- High proficiency in financial reporting and auditing
- Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
- 10+ years experience in the construction industry
- CPA, ACCA designation
- Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
- Good business acumen
- Proficient in speaking and writing in English and French

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
