**We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Controller to join our team.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Financial Management: Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and reports.
- Accounting Oversight: Manage the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable insights to senior management to support decision-making.
- Audit Coordination: Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely completion of audits.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company’s financial health. Develop strategies to optimize cash management.
- Policy Development: Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance internal controls and operational efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies and business plans.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including tax filings and reporting requirements.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Experience in the accounting and finance in the construction industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
**Other Experience**:
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
**Salary**:
- $100,000+ per year based on experience and suitability
