POSTION TITLE: Financial Analyst
- REPORTS TO: Finance Manager
- LOCATION:

- Richmond Hill, Ontario
- PRIMARY FUNCTION:

- Responsible for the daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting of financial information.
- AREAS OF RESPONSIBLITIY:

- The month-end preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations, journal entries and accruals.
- Collaborating with senior management on financial analysis and forecasting through ad hoc reporting.
- Creating chargeback invoices within Navision for marketing expenses, completed on a weekly basis.
- Work with external bookkeepers and clinic administrative staff in order to centralize the retail accounting function in Toronto.
- Reconcile multiple bank accounts to ensure all transactions are validated and recorded in our ERP system.
- Other duties as assigned, such as journal entries and invoice coding for accounts payable.
- Oversee the coding, coordination of approvals and communication with A/P Shared Service Group for all invoices pertaining to GN Hearing Care Canada’s Canadian Operations.
- EDUCATION:

- BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- EXPERIENCE:

- 3+ years of experience in a Finance or Accounting function.
- KNOWLEDGE SPECIFICATIONS:

- Actively managing one’s time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently. Needs to maintain an internal customer service focus to ensure information is provided in a timely manner.
- Stays focused on work tasks and productively uses time and energy when faced with multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment. Needs to be able to manage expectations when receiving multiple requests.

- Effective communication skills both verbal and written in order to engage with all levels of the organization.
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, specifically must be proficient in Excel. Strong knowledge of Excel functions such as vlookup functions and pivot tables is required.
