**What you'll do**:
A Sportsnet Grill Bartender’s goal is to provide a warm welcome and exemplary service to every guest. The principal functions of this role include welcoming our guests warmly and with enthusiasm as they enter the restaurant, making drinks for Servers & guests, serving meals to our guests in a timely manner, and performing all side duties to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant. **The responsibilities of this position include**:

- To make drinks for Servers.
- To provide food and beverage service to all guests according to Marriott standards.
- To be familiar with all food and beverage menus, specials and promotions in the Sportsnet Grill, in order to assist the guest in their selection and promote the items.
- To provide service to our guests in an efficient, friendly and professional manner.
- To enter all food and beverage orders into Micros, point of sale equipment.
- To maintain accurate guest checks, ensuring the check is properly acknowledged and signed by the guest.
- To promote the use of all Hotel facilities and special promotions.
- To follow and comply with Hotel cash handling policies and procedures.
- To adhere to local liquor and health, safety and fire procedures and laws.
- To make recommendations for improvement to either product or service in the Sportsnet Grill.
- To respond to guest concerns and solicit guest feedback.
- To participate in the daily pre-shift meeting.
- Other duties as assigned

**What you'll offer us**:
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and fosters a culture of respect and positivity.
- At least **one year of bartending experience** in a **fast-paced full-service** restaurant
- **Smart Serve** Certification required
- Knowledge of Micros preferred
- Knowledge of wines, beer and spirits a strong is a must.
- Have **good knowledge of the tourism and hospitality offerings in Toronto** (an asset).
- Must thrive in a team environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.35-$22.94 per hour
