Sportsnet is looking for a Sportsnet Central, Producer to bolster our brand while growing our followers and audience reach by delivering authoritative original sports content that entertains, informs and inspires. Whether its via Sportsnet’s world-class live presentations, its branded content executions or the network’s cross-platform integrations, we connect Canadians to a world of possibilities and memorable sporting moments that define us as fans. This critical production role helps to position the Sportsnet brand as the industry’s definitive source for original sports content creation and storytelling while skillfully managing pre
- and post-production workflow involving both internal and external stakeholders.

**What you will do**
- Create and execute the nightly Broadcast of Sportsnet Central, Canada’s Number 1 Sports Hi-light and Story Driven Content Show.
- Create Engaging, and Entertaining Original Content for distribution on all digital platforms including social executions, compelling short and long-form segments, branded and sales integrated content, live productions, as well as helping to grow our DTC streaming services.
- Oversee the creation of lineups, scripts and all elements associated with the show
- Embracing change in a fast-pace environment while generating fresh and creative perspectives with a proven ability to multi-task will be critical.
- Run daily editorial meetings with the editorial team working on the show
- Contribute and oversee the execution of new ideas
- Ensure team is motivated and committed to producing best in class sports content
- Coordinates and directs staff in all day-to-day aspects of the production of the show
- Provide feedback to Talent, Director, Associate Producers, and other members of the team
- Liaise with Management Team in the creation and execution of new segments and sponsorship opportunities
- Create engaging content within a collaborative environment

- Editorial experience with a passion for sports, media and storytelling
- A proven leader, who leads by example and holds team accountable
- The ability to make decisions on the fly, and possess a desire to cerate engaging story lines
- An understanding and appreciation for Sports Fans and the stories that ignite their passions
- Expertise in live production and an ability to innovate in the content creation and distribution process
- Proven experience as a leader who can bring the best out of their team
- A natural curiosity and drive to win
