**Job Summary**

We are seeking to recruit a team leader to join our Operations division as part of our Fokker Elmo Canada team. The position will be supporting our ongoing activities with one of our main customers in the Montreal area. The majority of our work is performed on the aircraft, providing a unique hands-on working experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Exemplifying a safety-first mind-set and ensuring compliance with the GKN Health, Safety and Environment policies and standards
- Be accountable for the output and performance of the technicians and inspectors.
- Assigning jobs according to the planning
- Report to the production supervisor
- Coordinate priorities with the customer and the team
- Has to be flexible to support the various functions of a small team.
- Support absences such as, but not limited to, planner, inspector, quality, logistics, and the production supervisor.
- Manage the performance reviews of assigned team members.
- Answer the technical questions of the team and the customer.
- Must be flexible to work shifts and overtime.

**How you’ll contribute**:
Essential
- Bilingual French and English
- Ability to work with different stake holders.
- Ability to accommodate to the needs of a small team
- The ability to lead, engage, train, and develop direct reports
- Effective communication skills and be an effective mentor
- Have experience as both a technician and inspector within the company
