Essential Responsibilities

- Ensure all guests are handled in a professional manner and complaints are dealt with quickly and efficiently
- Execute operations of 33 Acres Vancouver tasting rooms using our standards, guidelines, procedures
- Oversee the hiring/firing/reprimands of all staff
- Oversee the training of all new staff, and ongoing training of current staff, ensuring that they anticipate guest needs and deliver a friendly and positive guest experience for anyone coming into our tasting room.
- Managing cash and other receipts/invoices with our accounting team.
- Evaluate current procedures/systems and work with Operations Director to streamline.
- Identify solutions and alternatives for a successful outcome in all situations including but not limited to: sales, product quality and conflict resolution
- Watch hours for overtime managing labour costs for all departments covering shifts when required due to no shows, injury or sickness
- Creation, rollout and implementation of new food/drink items.
- Organizing and running all monthly staff meetings and monthly shift supervisor meetings
- Inventory management including merchandise, beer, food, liquor, wine etc.
- Overseeing and ensuring that the space is organized and clean at all times.
- Completion of weekly sales reviews / administration tasks
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with all suppliers.
- Overseeing the floor serving and interacting with guests as well as assisting FOH Staff - 90% of this role will be on the floor serving guests
- Working with Operations director to create and achieve quarterly goals.
- Overseeing staff reviews / always seeking feedback from staff on how you can improve as a manager and how we can improve as an organization
- Empowering staff to take control of guest interactions by ensuring they have all the tools they need at their disposal and are knowledgeable in all the things we offer.

Qualifications and Skills Required
- 2+ years successful experience in similar role
- 5+ Years in hospitality industry
- Past experience organizing and managing events
- Strong knowledge and understanding of guest services
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage and train a team
- Comfortable using Microsoft word, excel, google sheets and docs.
- Experience leading by example
- Comfortable providing coaching and development to staff
- Comfortable giving, receiving and seeking out feedback from staff.
- Strong organizational skills
