We service Langford, Leechtown, Cowichan Bay, Cordova Bay, Sidney, and many more **Full-Time, Part-Time & Flexible Shifts Available (weekday & weekend)** **Pay**: $18-$22/hr (Base Wage of $16) with regular pay increases based on experience, responsibilities and performance. We're a fun and fast-paced operation that helps people in our community get rid of unwanted items, responsibly. And, we do it like no one else with our professional, on-time service, clean shiny trucks, and friendly uniformed team. **Do the following qualities describe you?** - You consistently go above and beyond what is expected of you - You’re friendly and personable - you enjoy meeting new people & delivering great customer service - You’re in good shape and energetic - not afraid of hard physical work and a challenge - You’re dependable and hardworking - you want to be part of a great culture of like-minded, fun people - You’re a good communicator, problem solver and very organized **What you’ll be doing as a Field Team Member**: - **Customer Service**: WOWing every customer with a friendly, positive attitude and exceptional service - **Truck Operations**: Safe driving and loading of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? trucks with a team member (so a valid standard driver’s license is required) - **Junk Removal**: Heavy and light lifting required for removal of "junk" from residential and commercial client locations (i.e. couches, chairs, appliances, recyclables, debris, yard, and garage junk) - **Marketing**: Enthusiastically advocate for our brand to all you meet and encounter - **Sales**: Providing estimates to customers that call us for quotes to have items removed and educating them on how we safely dispose of, recycle, and/or donate what we can to keep as much out of landfills as possible - because we all need to care about our planet. - **Safety**: Commitment to the safe and professional navigation and driving of trucks and intelligent and efficient loading & unloading of customers’ belongings. - **Professional & Uniformed**: We always wear uniforms and provide you with what you need (shirts, sweaters, coats, hats, gloves) to represent 1-800-GOT-JUNK? and make a great impression. **Qualifications**: - 21+ years of age (for insurance purposes) - Available 1 day over the weekends - A valid standard driver's license and clean driving record (past 3 years) - Reliable, hard-working, and a great attitude - Previous customer service, labor, or sales experience an asset (but not required) - Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly **Previous experience in the following is a plus**: - Delivery Driver - Truck Driver - Delivery Driver - Construction - Moving - Demolition - General Labor - Warehouse worker - Service Industry: Grocery stores, Retail, Restaurants, Hotels
