We are seeking a **dedicated and experienced Program Coordinator** to join our Supported Living team in Edmonton. This is an opportunity to lead, innovate, and create lasting impact in the lives of others.
**About the Role**
As a **Program Coordinator**, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to a range of services and programs. Your role encompasses service planning, staff development, community engagement, and operational oversight. With a focus on quality and efficiency, you will work collaboratively to ensure services meet the needs of the individuals we support while maintaining the highest standards of care and accountability.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Service Planning**: Develop and implement operational plans, budgets, and service delivery strategies aligned with the agency’s strategic goals.
- **Policy and Compliance**: Prepare guidelines, procedures, and accreditation compliance plans to ensure services adhere to best practices and standards.
- **Service Optimization**: Monitor and evaluate service delivery to enhance outcomes for individuals and maximize resource utilization.
- **Staff Leadership**: Recruit, mentor, and support staff, ensuring professional growth and effective team dynamics.
- **Community Engagement**: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to enhance service delivery and agency visibility.
- **Conflict Resolution**: Address and resolve issues with professionalism, ensuring positive outcomes for all parties involved.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records, analyze data, and prepare timely reports to support decision-making.
- **On-Call Support**: Provide after-hours guidance and direction as needed to ensure continuity of services.
**Qualifications**
- **Education**: Post-secondary diploma or degree in Social Services, Psychology, Disability Studies, or related fields preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years in the disability sector with demonstrated leadership experience in service planning, staff management, and program oversight.
- **Skills**:
- Proven ability to lead teams and foster collaboration.
- Strong conflict resolution, mediation, and communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and financial management tools.
**Other Requirements**
- Valid Class 5 (or higher) driver’s license.
- Reliable vehicle with $2M liability insurance for work-related travel.
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sectors Search (dated within three months).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
