**The Role**
Our mission at Cymax Group is to break down all barriers to make multi-channel commerce easy. The Pricing & Promotions Manager contributes to this mission by determining pricing strategies to ensure products are at their optimal price. This includes coordinating with eCommerce, Vendor Development, and Marketing departments to set policies on pricing and determine how to handle promotions and discounts within our in-house built dynamic pricing system. Our goal is to use our expertise in big data analytics to facilitate business decisions to meet profitability targets.**Who You Are**
- You have excellent written and verbal communication along with strong negotiation and relationship building skills.
- Very strong understanding of pricing and promotional theory.
- Strong analytical skills to recognize correlations, trends, A/B testing, and interpret test results.
- Experience in building customer relationships.
- Strong to advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms.
- Strong Knowledge of SQL.
- You are analytical and you are well versed at using data to support your ideas.
- You are results driven and tenacious.

**What You’ll Do**
- Develop pricing and promotions strategy and guide the development of processes, capabilities and algorithms that maximize profitability.
- Develop and implement Promotional Strategies for the vendors to drive Growth and Profitable Revenue.
- Analyze market and competition in order to meet company expectations in driving expected sales, margin, and service levels from vendors.
- Analyze competitive pricing and take action to increase gross profit margins.
- Perform financial analysis and continuously monitor key to assess pricing and promotions effectiveness, identify opportunities and recommend changes to close gaps to plan.
- Quickly and promptly deal with vendor / VDG issues/complaints and make any corrections as needed.
- Guide the creation of promotions measurements and forecasting tools, including sales collateral and vendor playbooks that accelerate the penetration of promotions with vendors and maximize profitability for Cymax.
- Create detailed promotional strategies and segmentation, including category and channel focused promotions.
- Gain a deep understanding of our dynamic pricing and promotions systems, maintain documentation, vendor facing materials and materials to onboard new associates.
- Implement purchasing and sales agreements, including promotional rebate programs.
- Work closely with the Merchandising Department to ensure that promotion implementations are implemented accurately and support Product to build next-generation tools to self-service.
- Analyze competitive pricing on head SKUs, identify gaps and take action to increase gross profit margins.
- Partner with Business Analytics to ensure that SKU Profitability issues are addressed at the source.
- Support Senior Leadership by understanding broader corporate strategy to identify and develop pricing models that maximize profitability opportunities.
