Bridge LLP, Chartered Professional Accountants is an established and respected Chartered Professional Accounting firm providing Canadian and US individual and corporate taxation, year ends including Audits, Review Engagements, and Compilations, full cycle accounting and bookkeeping, and other related services. We're looking for a detail-oriented **Accounting Technician** to join our team.

**Duties**
- Provide full-cycle bookkeeping services, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger and sub-ledger accounts (AR, AP, bank recs, inventory, GST, etc.)
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Prepare payroll and associated government remittances
- Complete GST returns and year-end filings (T4s, T5s, WCB reports)
- Assist clients with accounting software, including new client setups
- Support the preparation of compilation, review, audit, and tax engagements

**Qualifications**
- 1-3 years of full-cycle bookkeeping and previous tax preparation experience
- Financial statement preparation experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Business
- Enrollment in CPA’s program to become a CPA (an asset)
- Strong knowledge of trial balances, ledgers, and financial statement preparation
- Understanding of both manual and computerized payroll/bookkeeping systems
- Experience with QuickBooks and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- A team player who can also work independently
