The property features 77 luxurious guest suites, a renowned Day Spa, two restaurants and a cafe._

The position of Food and Beverage Manager is integral to all aspects of the hotel’s Food & Beverage operations.

It is a floor-driven position, with a focus on training, supporting and developing a high performance teams, and delivering engaging, high caliber experiences to our guests.

This position helps oversee all aspects of Cure Lounge & Bar, the Den restaurant (coming soon), and Fix Café

Duties of the F&B / Restaurant manager include, but are not limited to:
**Floor & Service Management**
- Focusing on always filling all available tables
- Having strong working knowledge of the Open Table reservation management system
- Setting up the floorplan and section assignments for daily service
- Communicating with the service team to ensure seating for reservations and walk-ins is maximized, and sharing all special plans for each shift
- Supporting the GS team in answering the phone, greeting and seating the guests
- Addressing all guest concerns/complaints/compliments and communicating same to GM
- Supervising and coaching to ensure that standards in appearance, guest relations and service are being met.
- Liaising with Kitchen to ensure front/back cooperation and smooth food service
- Having strong working knowledge/ willingness to learn the Silverware POS system and ability to operate/troubleshoot
- Having strong working knowledge of the Open Table reservation management system
- Ensuring the proper cash out and punch out procedures are followed by all staff on the shift
- Work closely with the Meetings & Events Department, attending weekly BEO meetings; liaising with the Kitchen to provide the service expected by our guests
- Oversee Supervisors to ensure Dining Room, Lounge, and Cafe are clean, tidy, organized, follow Health & Safety standards; conduct spot-checks to ensure standards are being met

**Administration**
- Overseeing the process for inventory, ordering, wine list, menu printing, tastings, allocation of Duty, Personal and Promo accounts, daily sales reports and other duties as assigned
- To prepare schedule, ensuring staff shifts are allocated in a fair and equitable manner, and provide the hours required for retention of staff;
**Guest Relations**
- Being a “presence” at the door and on the floor, welcoming and appreciating our guests and setting the example for our service team
- Recognizing our regular guests and helping other staff to do the same
- Focusing on attention to detail
- Bringing all guest-service related issues to the management table for discussion

**Team and Personal Development**

Must be prepared to oversee training and mentorship for all members of Department
- Keeping current with trends in food and beverage and sharing information with management team
- Supporting management team in all staff-related issues
- Maintaining positive attitude toward all staff and management
- Representing a positive, polished personal and company image within the industry and the community

Setting personal and professional goals and seeking to consistently exceed them

**SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**

**Experience Requirements**
- 3-5 years of fine dining restaurant experience is preferred

**Technical Skills Requirements**:

- Strong proficiency in inventory and cash management
- Strong food & beverage knowledge is preferred
- Proficiency with POS Systems and Open Table

**Soft Skill Requirements**:

- Must have a strong understanding of high-end restaurant customer service
- Must have excellent people skills
- Must be a strong leader and mentor
- Must be self-motivated and goal oriented
- Must be hands-on and have strong anticipation skills
- Must have proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
