Wingtra’s sales team is looking to capitalise on the momentum that comes with being one of the fastest growing drone companies in the world. A big part of that strategy is growing our team of Business Development Representatives. As a Wingtra BDR, in close collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager, you will identify potential customers across Canada and qualify their interest in Wingtra’s products.

This is a high-energy position, requiring high flexibility, proactive and persistent interactions with clients. You will have the unique chance to be part of the emerging drone industry and develop an in-depth understanding of our customers' use cases. Successful performance in this role will give you the opportunity to further grow within the Sales team at Wingtra within 1-2 years.

This role can be pursued remotely from any location within Canada.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will play a large part in our growth strategy by generating leads using social media, phone and networking activities
- Validate and qualify leads using outbound sales techniques to establish a contact with the customer
- You will hold virtual product demonstrations of the drone and its workflow as well as assisting in person
- Introduce sales qualified leads (SQL) to our local partners and your Wingtra Regional Sales Manager in a well documented manner.
- Assist in the organization of roadshows, partner events and tradeshows
- Create and maintain customer data in CRM tools (Hubspot)
- Build the territory in a close working relationship with the Regional Sales Manager

**Requirements**:

- You have experience cold calling, generating leads and dealing with rejection
- You are passionate, competitive and curious by nature, who is open to continuously growing their skillset
- You are well organized, able to document clearly and concisely
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to demonstrate a strong aptitude for both selling and building lasting relationships with distribution partners and customers
- Persuasive, independent, at ease negotiating and developing trust
- You have completed a post secondary education or 1-2 years of professional working experience
- A high level of curiosity and an openness to being coached alongside senior sales staff
- Travel up to 20%

**Bonus if you have**:

- French language proficiency
- Existing network in the geospatial, surveying, mining or construction industries
- A passion for the latest technologies and innovations that solve problems for customers and enhance their daily lives
