**Schedule**:Monday to Friday, On-Site

We are one of more than 50 affiliates under Habitat for Humanity Canada and part of the global Habitat for Humanity International network.

In addition to our homeownership program, we manage a portfolio of affordable homes, empower volunteers and future homeowners, and operate a social enterprise that includes six ReStores across the Edmonton area.

**About the Role**
We are currently seeking a **Human Resources Coordinator** for a temporary full-time position. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented HR professional who is passionate about helping others, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and values meaningful work.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Recruitment & Hiring**
- Post job advertisements internally and externally
- Conduct reference checks and support hiring logistics

**Onboarding & Orientation**
- Ensure completion of hiring documentation and background checks
- Enter employee data into internal systems
- Track probation end dates and notify supervisors

**Benefits Administration**
- Enroll and remove employees from group benefits, RRSP, and TFSA
- Maintain records of employee benefit details and changes
- Answer employee benefit questions and provide orientation

**Employee Offboarding**
- Prepare termination documents and coordinate approvals
- Notify Payroll and conduct exit interviews

**HR Documentation & File Management**
- Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files
- Process updates to employee status, pay, or contact information
- Coordinate performance review tracking and records retention

**Policy & Systems Support**
- Assist with editing HR policies and procedures
- Support the use of ADP Workforce Now HR platform

**Qualifications**

**Education & Experience**
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field
- HR experience preferred
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now (an asset)

**Skills & Attributes**
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Discreet and professional in handling confidential information
- Dependable and committed to consistent attendance
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

**Additional Details**
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Duration: Temporary until August 31, 2025, with potential for extension
- Work Environment: On-site at our Edmonton office
