The Facilities and Safety Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all ROBINSON facilities ensuring that the properties and their services meet the needs of the employees who work within them. In addition, the Facilities and Safety Manager will lead all Health and Safety initiatives across ROBINSON facilities, ensuring provincial Health and Safety requirements are adhered to.

**Duties**:
Facility Management
- Coordinates the ongoing operations and maintenance of all ROBINSON owned and leased facilities
- Acts as a lead in facility related emergencies
- Reviews and authorizes all invoices pertaining to maintenance activities, renovation expenses up to their signing authority
- Ensures preventative, regular, and emergency maintenance activities are completed and are compliant to any regulatory codes and ROBINOSN standards
- Acts as the Contract Administrator and responds to contractors in providing day to day service (garbage collection, recycling, snow removal, landscaping, cleaning, etc.)
- Coordinates and oversees internal/reorganizational building moves; meets with internal customers, furniture suppliers, electricians, phone services, movers, painters, cleaners, security, as required to determine requirements; makes all necessary arrangements; plans and coordinates all details
- Procures and arranges with contractors for services as required (plumbing, HVAC, electrical. building controls, security systems)
- Manage all building security contracts and CCTV coverage to ensure ROBINSON employees, customers and assets are adequately protected
- In conjunction with Regional and Branch Managers develop annual capital facility budgets
- Work with Branch Managers to ensure that capital projects are planned, and executed
- Prepare regular reporting on facilities/equipment condition and spending including spend vs plan
- Conduct annual building health assessments and develop remediation plans
- Performs other related duties are assigned

Health and Safety
- Engage with the functional business leaders and Branch Managers within the organization as their health and safety resource partner
- Responsible for occupational health and safety and injury prevention programs, to ensure compliance with relevant legislation to reduce related risks
- Tracks and analyzes accident and injury data, identifying and implementing new or modified safety practices when needed
- Leads injury and accident investigations if appropriate
- Assisting with the implementation and development of Health and Safety Policies, Safe Work Procedures, Job Hazard Analysis, Safe Operating Procedures, and Training Programs
- Provide regular reporting on health and safety to branch employees and senior leadership

**Role Requirements**:

- Five (5) years' experience in a facilities management capacity, including experience in operating and maintaining a computerized HVAC & Security System (video surveillance, intrusion alarm and security card access system)
- In depth knowledge of multiple provincial health and safety requirements and standards
- Prior experience overseeing corporate safety initiatives
- Proven ability to manage projects and vendors
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders
- Valid driver's license and possession of own vehicle to travel between locations
