**Position Overview**: The Construction Project Manager - Hospitality is responsible for overseeing and managing the successful execution of hospitality construction and renovation projects, including hotels, resorts, and other hospitality venues. This role involves coordinating all aspects of the construction process, from planning and budgeting to execution and project closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The Project Manager will work closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and hotel management to meet the specific requirements of hospitality clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of hospitality construction projects, including new builds, renovations, and refurbishments.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget, in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Oversee procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) for the project.
- Manage relationships with hotel ownership, designers, and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.
- Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring work is completed according to project specifications, timelines, and within budget.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to project plans.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting risks, issues, and progress toward milestones.
- Identify and manage potential risks or issues, implementing corrective actions to keep the project on track.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with finance teams to manage project budgets, track expenses, and approve payments to vendors and subcontractors.
- Lead weekly project meetings with key stakeholders to review project updates, resolve issues, and ensure all parties are aligned on project goals.
- Manage the project closeout process, including final inspections, punch list completion, and turnover of completed facilities to hotel operators.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically within the hospitality construction sector.
- Strong understanding of hotel construction processes, including knowledge of FF&E and OS&E (Operating Supplies and Equipment) integration.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale hotel renovation or new construction projects.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build strong relationships.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex schedules, budgets, and teams.
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and hospitality industry standards.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is an asset.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.

**Working Conditions**:

- This role requires regular site visits and coordination with contractors, hotel management, and suppliers.
- Some evening or weekend work may be necessary to meet project deadlines.

**Employment Type**:

- Full-time, with travel as required to various hotel construction sites.
