Business Information Specialist

**Agricorp is looking for a Business Information Specialist to join the Operations team in the Program Delivery division.**:
**The Role**:
- Conduct highly complex analysis defining business requirements for solutions to business needs for all programs
- Develop complex reports for employee and management use to support performance, tracking and forecasting
- Maintain and update program export templates which are used for certain calculations
- Create and implement solutions for benefit determination, enabling critical components for underwriting and claims adjudication processes required outside of any system
- Translate business and user requirements into detailed system requirements
- Develop and run queries as requested by Program Delivery and other divisions as requested
- Develop and conduct checks and balances on work processes across the division
- Conduct complex data analysis and resolve data management issues related to programs or systems to meet customer needs
**Job status**: Permanent
**Salary**:$79,981 - $94,095
**Work status**: Full time in office, remote and hybrid work arrangements are available
**Location**: Must live in Ontario to perform this role
**Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in business, mathematics or finance
- 5-7 years experience in a business information role
- Superior Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience creating and managing data queries using Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Finance and/or insurance industry experience preferred
- Experience using data analytic tools, such as PowerBI is an asset
