1-800-GOT-JUNK? is looking for an exceptional Communications Specialist to join our Communications Team to provide strategic communications expertise and content support that helps us inspire, engage and connect with our franchise community.

For this role’s duty and responsibility we anticipate that you will be in the office 25% of time.

**A Day in the Life**
- Provide strategic communications support to cross-departmental stakeholders, including the development and execution of comprehensive communications plans that support change management and align with our strategy
- Develop and manage delivery of comprehensive internal communication programs for both Franchise Partner (franchisee) and head office audiences that support the company’s goals
- Continuously improve internal communication channels and content
- Develop engaging content that delivers on agreed-upon outcomes
- Leverage marketing, journalism and PR best practices to develop and implement dynamic storytelling that builds trust, culture and engagement
- Provide communications support to senior leader to ensure strategy and goals are compelling and widely understood
- Analyze the performance of internal communication channels and develop data-driven recommendations to ensure we’re continuously evolving to meet our audience’s needs

**What You Bring to the Table**
- Proven 3+ years of experience in a strategic communications role, including internal communications, content development, change management, thought leadership, or journalism
- Proven experience in providing strategic counsel to senior leaders and advising multiple stakeholders on high-impact communications plans
- Extremely detail-oriented - it's one of your superpowers Articulate communicator, with strong writing, verbal, and presentation skills
- Highly organized professional who can manage and drive forward multiple projects and deadlines
- Creative content and communication ideas, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and implement them
- Natural storytelling ability that engages people
- Demonstrated strength with content development for digital platforms

**COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS**
- Salary $55,000-72,000 per annum (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
