We are Treasure Mills, a Canadian food manufacturer founded in 2009 under the brands School Safe and The School Safe Snacking Company. School Safe is North America's pioneer brand and market leader in allergen sensitive kids snacks. All of our snacks are developed for those that matter most - Kids All of our products are Peanut-free, Tree-nut free and dairy free with a focus on wholesome nutritionally balanced food. While kids are a focus and our primary consumer of School Safe snacks, we have recently launched a new brand called the School Safe Safe Snacking Company that has healthy snacks for the whole family. Our products are found across Canada and the United States and we are expanding rapidly as both new and existing customers demand healthier, school safe products in the bakery section of their local grocery store.

**About the Role**

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Supply Chain Manager, who can perform the below requirements:

Supply Chain

Transportation

**In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Direct the movement, storage, or processing of inventory
- Lead and/or support troubleshooting and problem resolution for planning issues impacting service
- Communicate priorities and fill orders based on the collaborative direction
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders
- Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
- Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution
- Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials
- Manage manufacturing capacity and communicate risk and opportunities through SOP process
- Interact with Finance, Production and Sales to manage the product life cycle including key events and new product innovation including seasonal management
- Initiate & lead supply prioritization discussions during capacity constrained periods
- Create and report monthly performance KPIs
- Direct leadership of corporate supply needs
- Direct leadership of production planning team which includes scheduling and material planning

**Requirements**:

- University degree or College diploma in Business Administration or a related discipline
- 7 years Supply Chain experience in Demand and Supply planning including capacity and inventory management
- Food Manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and people management skills
- Strong project management experience
- You are proficient in MS Office (Excel)
- Experience with planning software implementation would be considered an asset
