**Acara Solutions is looking for Finance Manager Direct placement opportunity for our client located in Aurora, ON**
- Lead timely, accurate and complete submission of all financial data including annual budgets, quarterly forecasting and monthly financials; understanding and explaining variances to all levels of Management as well as advising on actions to achieve improved results
- Work with Plant Operations teams to monitor and control expenses, develop and implement enhanced metrics, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
- Work closely with Supply Chain team on product costings ensuring they have the necessary information to make the appropriate decision to ensure successful growth
- Track, validate and report cost savings and value creation projects to drive continuous cost improvements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual debt compliance certificates
- Lead and facilitate the annual audit conducted by a Big 4 accounting firm
- Ensure compliance with all Company, Accounting and Government Standards, Policies and Regulations.
- Work with VP of Finance to evaluate and implement new accounting guidance
- Build solid collaborative working relationships within Finance team and across the organization

Required Skills / Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial analyst capacity in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with commercial contracts dealing with customer and supply transactions and agreements including review of contracts and agreements for proper accounting treatment
- Experience with M&A evaluation and analysis, although not a prerequisite.

**Salary**: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
